Description:
The Insider Exclusive will go behind the headlines to examine the Chrysler Corporation’s motives to shut down the world’s oldest Dodge dealership . . . and how their actions might destroy a great business like Tator’s Dodge. We’ll show how the law firm of Entwistle & Cappucci LLP is trying – pro bono – to protect Tator’s Dodge in court. The fate of Tator’s Dodge now lies in the hands of bankruptcy court Judge Arthur Gonzalez. Tator’s Dodge is one of almost 800 Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge dealerships around the country to be slated for elimination in Chrysler’s proposed restructuring, which Judge Gonzalez is to rule on July 3. You can contact Andrew Entwistle at 212-894-7200, or www.entwistle-law.com. Chuck Tator at www.tatorsdodge.com, Congressman John Hall at www.johnhall.house.gov, Caryn McBride at www.wcbizj.biz, Ed Brancati at www.lewisborogov.com and Norb Vonnegut at www.norbvonnegut.com.

It took a car accident and 2 years of recovery to
finally get a chance to own one of my dream cars which
is 94 dodge viper r/t 10. Which I have owned a few
dodges in the past but took so much pride when owning
the viper. Of all the american pride that took to
start it. And Dodge dishes out a shop that stood by
that name from practically the beginning... No offense
to viper and cars, but Dodge executives are plain
stupid to close anything down. They go their bail out
money. Why shut down any dealerships? Just to make
more money in your coporate pockets! Thats plain
greedy! It's not like GM closing pontiac. Thats
understandable! But they survived this war or
surviving. Remember, the little people in the world
who turns those wrenches and bust their butts trying to
make a living. They as the REAL people in the world
didn't grow up being feed with a golden spoon or maid
to wipe their butts! NEver had to really struggle.
DOdge wake up! Stop being stupid! And Save Tator's
Dodge!

automobiles though.

I would imagine they would honor these guys. Companies
don't have a sense of respect towards their retailers.
Its only about money. Sad.

This was an EXQUISITE telling of truth. I'd hoped we
still lived in NY (now in NC) to contribute to this
saving effort for Tator's Dodge. My wife was the full
charge bookkeeper there for 23 years before retiring.

Are you sure this is the oldest? William T. Pritchard
Dodge in Ithaca NY has been around a long time as well.
They are slated for closing as well, maybe something
could be done to combine the efforts of these two very
historic dealerships. Chrysler has NO common sense, but
I guess that's why they are in the position they are
in.rn

Awesome. What a tragic story. Congress should be
ashamed of themselves for not assuring that these
dealerships would be saved!
